The Executive Canvas is a curated 3-day retreat designed for executive boards, founders, and C-suite teams to master lateral problem solving, restore leadership energy, and co-create unified corporate vision through oil, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, and plein air field research in Connemara. The Canvas Methodology: Visual Thinking for C-Suite Strategy An applied methodology for strategic agility at Connemara Creative Arts Centre, guided by artist Letitia Hill across oil, acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media. Executives conduct flora and fauna research before plein air painting, practicing risk-taking through impasto and watercolor techniques. The core milestone is "The Shared Vision Canvas"—a collaborative 2x3m artwork co-created by your team, framed and shipped to corporate headquarters as a permanent visual anchor.Estate Accommodations, Gastronomy, and Spatial SolitudeRestoration drives performance. Accommodations are set in Kilkieran along the Wild Atlantic Way: Option 1: Buttercup Cottage — A thatched cottage sleeping up to 4 across 2 private double bedrooms, shared bath, kitchen, dining room, and lounge. Option 2: An Muileann Cottage — Accommodates up to 8 across 4 bedrooms (3 double/king, 1 twin) and 2 baths. Features an expansive stone-fireplace lounge and a river-view dining room seating 8. A private chef prepares hyper-local dining in-house, supplemented by Night 2 private dining and traditional music at Tigh Mheaic in Carna.
Event Policies
Cancellation and Refund Policy Payment: The retreat fee of €4,950 is payable at booking. Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of €750 will be deducted from the total fee upon booking. This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. Refunds: If you cancel: The €750 deposit is non-refundable. You will receive a refund of the remaining amount paid, minus the €750 deposit. Cancellation by Organizer: We may cancel if: The minimum number of participants is not met. Unforeseen circumstances prevent the retreat. In such cases, all fees paid will be refunded, excluding the €750 deposit. Force Majeure: We are not liable for cancellations or changes due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, terrorism, government restrictions, or other force majeure events. Refunds may be adjusted based on our ability to recover funds from suppliers. Travel Documents & Insurance Participants must have: A valid passport with sufficient validity for travel dates. Necessary visas for Ireland. Any required vaccination or health certificates. We strongly recommend obtaining comprehensive travel and health insurance covering: Medical expenses, illness, injury, hospitalization. Trip cancellation or interruption due to unforeseen events (illness, emergencies). Loss or theft of baggage and belongings, including art supplies. Personal liability for injury or property damage caused by you.
